Hi, I’m going traveling around the world (not sure exactly what countries but will be Europe/North Africa/Middle East) and was wondering what would be the best way of getting the internet on my mobile phone (so I can use Skype and by pass roaming charges)? Thanks a lot in advance, I really need some help on this!

Most hosting services will let you run CGI or PHP without a problem.
If you are sure that your server will only run PHP, then you’ll need to get a script that is written in PHP. To the best of my knowledge the is no way to port it, or ‘make it work’ if the server doesn’t support CGI.
I usually just search google or check www.hotscripts.com when I’m looking for pre-written PHP.

I need to disable “register_globals”, but I am so inexperienced with PHP, I wouldn’t know where to begin. If anyone could give me some general direction, that would be great.

I find that quite often, after using my mobile phone, my hand hurts…does anyone else get this? I am worried it has something to do with the Radiation the phone is giving off whilst I am using it???? Maybe it is doing something to my hand? Does the radiation stay ON your hands after??

Let’s say I just inserted a row into a table. Since the primary key is auto_increment, I specified a “NULL” value to go in the primary key. Immediately after inserting the row, I need to get the value of the primary key of the row I just inserted. Is there any way to do this besides SELECTing the same row by matching other fields?
